For Charities
The Wonderful Foundation serves the UK charity sector with its innovative FREE service - wonderful numbers. Wonderful numbers are telephone and SMS donation lines provided at no cost to the charities which use them.
Established as a non-profit organisation, the Foundation is committed to:
- creating a streamlined and simple sign-up process;
- ensuring that the service remains free of charge;
- maximising and harmonising payouts from the telecommunications industry for all charities, regardless of their size;
- extending provision to voluntary organisations, educational institutions and others in the third sector.
Other worthy causes
In order to provide a free service, The Wonderful Foundation is currently offering numbers only to organisations registered with the Charity Commission. This streamlines our sign-up and due diligence processes which also keeps costs to a minimum. We do have plans to extend the service to other third sector organisations in the near future.
SMS Donation Services - Coming Soon!
We are currently negotiating with the mobile operators and aggregators and plan to introduce SMS donation services to complement our telephone donation lines very soon.
