Cycle For Uganda 2019

for Clevedon Christadelphians

£1153.00 + £182.00 Gift Aid = £1335.00
Donated to Cycle For Uganda 2019’s £2000.00 Goal

This year we are raising funds for more installations of water tanks and guttering in Ugandan villages and the Orphanage Fund that provides grants to carers of orphans. Each aid project will receive half of the total funds raised.

Cyclists of all abilities are cycling from Clevedon to Burnham-on-Sea and back for a total of around 53 miles on 15th June 2019.

We are grateful for any donations, however small, as they can make a big difference to the lives of those who are lacking the basic things in life that we take for granted.

So far we have raised over £20,000 for aid projects in Uganda thanks to our very generous supporters!

All funds raised will be passed to Clevedon Christadelphians irrespective of whether our appeal target is reached, not reached or exceeded. If funds are being raised for a specific purpose and, for whatever reason, this purpose is no longer valid, the funds will be transferred to the charity for general use.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
