A chance to put your detective's cap on and enjoy a fun evening's entertainment whilst supporting Holding On Letting Go.

The company, Murder Again, will present 'A Fete Worse than Death'. In the sleepy village of Littlehampton, Mary Smallpiece, the vicar's wife, enlists the help of GP, Harriet Finch, to organise a fete to raise money for the church roof. Moreover, she also persuades her husband Humphrey to do a sponsored abseil down the church tower, aided by her brother, Staff Sergeant Marsh of the local army cadets. But in a village where everyone knows everyone and everyone has something to hide, is the vicar safe or is he letting himself in for a fall....

Tickets are £12.50 each (to include a ploughman's supper, please bring your own drinks)

The charity

Holding On Letting Go provides bereavement support to children, young people aged 6-16 and their families who live in Kent. They have lost someone special to them and are often struggling to cope. We invite the children and young people to attend a weekend where they get to meet others in a similar situation, tell their story and share experiences, discuss their loss and be helped to hold onto good memories and let go of painful ones. We help the children and young people to find ways of coping and developing resilience. We do not charge families for our service. We are totally reliant on donations and fundraising to provide this service and are so grateful for your support. Thank you.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
