The Rotary Club of Southam 2000 is one of two clubs in the small Warwickshire town of Southam. Southam 2000 meet every Thursday evening. Rotarians visiting the area and anyone else wanting to find out about Rotary will be welcome at our meetings. Southam 2000 is a lively club of women and men with a busy program of meetings and activities. During this Rotary year we will be continuing our varied programme, working directly with the young and old in our local area, partnering Rotary clubs in Asia and Africa on international projects and supporting local, national and international charities.

All funds raised will be passed to Rotary Club of Southam 2000 irrespective of whether our appeal target is reached, not reached or exceeded. If funds are being raised for a specific purpose and, for whatever reason, this purpose is no longer valid, the funds will be transferred to the charity for general use.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
