Sponsor a child on our Mentoring Programme

for Autism Angels

£10.00 + £2.50 Gift Aid = £12.50
Donated to Sponsor a child on our Mentoring Programme’s £2660.00 Goal

The Mentoring Programme with a whole family, consistently, for a longer period of time and with regular input (2 hourly session for 35 weeks over 1 year), will gives the most remarkable changes and transformation in their lives.

This programme provides opportunities for parent and child to work together and with other families (a maximum of 4) to build relationships, communication and to give you tools to be able to overcome adversity. We believe that by working with the parents, on the parents and bringing them back to themselves, they can be empowered to take responsibility for their choices and actions and have the confidence to choose those which serve them well.

The programme has been designed to support and empower children and parents who feel challenged by mainstream structures or who need support with development of self and personal skills (such as communication). The mentoring programme is a great aid to daily life and works alongside schools as part of the child’s educational needs/support. Children and parents will learn skills with the horses and through this will learn about developing themselves, communicating honestly, speaking up, being sure and learning lifelong skills and mindsets.

To find out the amazing impact it has had on some of our families, please have a look at our case studies.

Please help us make this programme available to those who are in desperate need of it.

All funds raised will be passed to Autism Angels irrespective of whether our appeal target is reached, not reached or exceeded. If funds are being raised for a specific purpose and, for whatever reason, this purpose is no longer valid, the funds will be transferred to the charity for general use.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
