Dartmoor Letterbox Charity Walk
We have sited a letterbox charity walk in the Hartland and Stannon Tor area of Dartmoor to raise funds for Basics Devon and support their amazing local life saving work.
Specialist Emergency Medical Care from Volunteer Doctors; Where it's Needed, When it Matters Most.
Volunteer Doctors giving their time and expertise to support South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust to provide immediate access to specialist medical care at the scene of illness or accident.
All our volunteers are senior clinicians who have undertaken extensive specialist training in the complex and challenging arena of pre-hospital emergency medicine. They are drawn from the fields of Anaesthesia, Primary Care and Emergency Medicine and new members undergo a rigorous selection and training process.
Some of our team are also educators, teaching vital life-saving skills to other emergency carers at home and abroad. All are fully committed to providing the best possible emergency medical support, working together with ambulance colleagues and other emergency services to save local lives – when seconds count!

The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
