Our work is about bringing exciting and engaging professional theatre to young people, the audiences, actors and theatrical creatives of the future, directly to them by touring mainly to their schools. It’s about involving them in plays and inspiring them, not merely as members of an audience but also as participants and co-creators. It’s about bringing vividly to life, through theatre, their world and their studies and the social and academic issues that are completely relevant to them, whether this be their examination texts, their safety on the roads, their relationships with each other or their hopes and aspirations for their future.
In 2016/2017, we performed to 68,096 young people and accompanying adults in 234 schools and 12 venues, giving 341 performances and 192 workshops. Your support will help us to reach more young people in more schools across the country. Over the next 3 years, we aim to increase our reach by 20% and undertake vital work on young people's mental health and well being at the heart of a diverse season of plays and workshops.
Box Clever does not receive any core funding and relies on the support of individuals, schools, Local Authorities and funding bodies to carry out its work.

The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
