Children on the autistic spectrum face daily challenges as they grow and develop throughout their lives. Without specialist support and intervention these challenges can become significantly overwhelming for both the child and the family.
Our team of professional staff and volunteers provide practical support for children with their communication, motor co-ordination, sensory and emotional difficulties, through a range of therapies and activities.
We offer support to parents and siblings and we also recognise the need for joined up working with other professionals involved with the families and offer support to schools and local organisations.
If you'd like to run, swim, bake (or do anything else to raise some money), click the button below to get started. It's quick and easy to register and by doing so here at Wonderful.org, you can be sure that every penny raised will reach Mustard Seed Autism Trust.
Mustard Seed provide the most fabulous range of services to local families with those on the spectrum. They currently have a 2 year waiting list for services for those with an NHS diagnosis. They are desperately short of professional staff in order to reduce this wait list. This means families in dire need of help and support are waiting an inordinately long time for vital advice and services not necessarily available via the NHS.
I will taking part in two runs to help raise funds for the Mustard Seed Autism Trust, who work with children who have Autism and their families. The first run will be The Great South Run, which is 10 miles on Sunday 20th October 2019. The second run will be Hastings half marathon, which is on Sunday 29th March 2020. This charity has provided Owen with support and also ourselves with some great advice and it would be lovely to help them by raising money to support the amazing work they do.

The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
