Redruth Town Band was victorious, securing a hat trick of wins at Bugle on Saturday 15th June in the 4th Section at the 95th Annual West of England Bandsmen’s Festival.
Redruth secured their victory after a solid performance, engaging the audience with their impressive sound, dynamic contrast and stability of tempo. The band has been working hard with high standards expected and created under the Musical Direction of Andrew Craze.
This follows on from the band’s recent successes at the 2019 West of England Regional Championships and the SWBBA Contest in November 2018 which has gained the band a place at the finals of the National Brass Band Championships, Cheltenham on 14th September 2019. The band will be maintaining these high expectations in preparation for their appearance at the National Finals in September.
The bands busy engagement schedule helps to support the daily running costs and now need to increase fundraising to finance the travel and attendance to the National Finals at Cheltenham.
Our fundraising page has been created to help us achieve this.

The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
