Malvern Hills Ridge Walk
To raise awareness and funds for TastelifeUK by walking along the top of the Malvern Hills, as part of our ongoing support for TastelifeUK and the amazing difference the charity makes!
tastelife is about just that: tasting life. tastelife believes in breaking free from eating disorders, and rediscovering life in all its fullness.People with eating disorders are in a very dark place. tastelife brings light to them, their family and friends by providing compassionate knowledge, understanding, and tools for recovery. As one person, with experience of our course, described it: “tastelife is a life-saver”.
Help from the NHS is limited to the most severe cases and hospital admissions for those dangerously ill with anorexia and bulimia have doubled over the last three years. Government sources suggest that 4 million people in the UK have eating disorders. Many overweight people are suffering from binge eating disorder which literally means they are addicted to food and in danger of diabetes, heart disease or stroke.
With cuts to mental health budgets continuing, tastelife plugs a much needed gap, offering an 8 session, accredited, community course to provide sufferers and their carers with tools to walk out of the darkness into the light.
We need your help to bring light to more people. Please donate now £3.00 enables us to send out a free copy of Do’s and Don’ts for Carers or Top Tips for sufferers. £40.00 will give a free place to someone who can’t afford the cost of the course and £100.00 allows us subsidise someone to attend our training to become a new course leader.

The Co-operative Bank are proud to be the main sponsorship partner of the Wonderful Organisation supporting charities to make a difference by ensuring 100% of donations go directly to doing good. Learn more about the Bank’s values and ethics.
We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.
We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.
We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
