Swim like a bike, cycle like a fish
On Saturday 13th October 2018, I will transform into a silvery sea trout before cycling 100 miles in support of West Sutherland Fisheries Trust’s 2018 sea trout project. The project aims to unlock the mysteries of where sea trout go and what they do whilst at sea.As keen Fish Biologist of Loch Duart Ltd, I will be training up for the event over the next couple of months, with a small team of crafty enthusiasts helping to design the most aerodynamic and biologically accurate sea trout costume ever made. Of course, this may be largely because it’s likely to be the only sea trout cycle costume ever made. In keeping with the tracking project, my cycle route will be monitored as I make my way along the route from Scourie, south to Lairg, and back north via Achfary, before returning home.Every penny raised will go directly to West Sutherland Fisheries Trust, and will be used to help cover data analysis costs for The Laxford Sea Trout Tracking Project.
