I am doing the Pru this August to raise money for the Heathrow Community Fund and Myeloma UK.
This is a closed road 100 mile cycling event that starts at The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and sets out to the Surrey Hills before heading back to a grand finish at The Mall.
Please find below information about Myeloma, the information about the Heathrow Community Fund is below:
Myeloma UK has a very special meaning to me. Eight years ago, my friend and colleague Stuart Fullerton (Head of Airline Engagement) was diagnosed with Myeloma, a very rare and incurable form of blood cancer. Without the work of Myeloma UK, Stuart would not be alive today. As his treatment options are now reaching a critical juncture, Stuart wants to share his story in the hope it will raise awareness.
Myeloma UK is a small charity but making an enormous difference to him and others. People living with Myeloma desperately need the charity to continue to fund research and clinical trials which ensure that the best drugs are available for their treatment and give them and their families hope for long term future. You can read more about the charity here.
I want to make a difference to Stuart and to other Myeloma patients and hope that you can support us by donating.
Please donate generously for two really good causes!!
