Em’s story

On the 6th of January, at around 5:45PM, I took 40 tablets with half a bottle of wine in an attempt to end my life. Fortunately, thanks to the fast action from one of my best friends and the paramedics, I survived with little to no long term effects. I still feel I haven't quite processed what has happened yet, but something I knew I wanted to do was share my story, in some hope that this event could be turned into something positive, whereby people see that it is okay to share their own stories.

Please, don't hesitate to message me if you feel you need help in a time of need and desperation.

In raising money for MRF, I hope that more word will spread about how important it is to push the prevention of suicide in those under 25 and how vital it is to support those with mental illnesses. Please donate to save the lives of people who may not be as fortunate as I was.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.

Molly Rose Foundation

Following the tragic loss of Molly Russell, her family and friends have registered a charity in Molly's memory to help prevent the suicide of young people under the age of 25. Our aim is to help recognise those suffering from mental illness and connect them to the support and practical advice they need.

Every donation will help us to raise awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing, offer both Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Awareness training and encourage good mental health of young people.

Fundraising for the Molly Rose Foundation will help us work towards a mentally healthy future.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
