Fletcher’s Fund is a charity set up in the name of Fletcher Fisher, who was, in every way, a perfectly typical toddler. He also had cancer, a fight he fought bravely since he was 9 months old. Sadly, he passed away aged 22 months and 27 days, just one month and one day before his 2nd birthday.
Fletcher loved to have fun and spent most of his time running around the ward or home, causing chaos and making everyone that knew him laugh. His laugh was truly infectious, and he was such a happy and loving little boy. Everyone that met him fell in love with him, and he has touched so many lives and left a big impact. He was a little boy with an enormous personality.
Fletcher's Fund provides grants to families affected by childhood cancer to enable them to buy play equipment or fund days out with their children. Our mission is to enable families to make memories together through play and having fun.
On 27th October, I shall be walking on fire to raise money for Fletcher's Fund in order to support the amazing work they do. As the saying goes 'every little helps'; all donations are gratefully received!
