Donated to Louise’s £150.00 Goal

Louise’s story

I am taking on the Inov8 Snowdon Twilight Race 2020 for Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent Mind.

(The race is uphill only, starting on the Llanberis path and finishing at the summit of Snowdon!)

Mental health is something which is very close to my heart. My reason for doing the race is because I have suffered with depression, anxiety and other mental health issues for a number of years. So I want to not only challenge myself, but help raise awareness about mental health and also help others by taking on the Snowdon Twilight Race and raising money for Mind.

(Two things which have helped me recently are running and exploring local mountains, so the race is the ultimate combination!)

Thank you in advance to those of you who sponsor, it truly means the world.

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
