On Sunday, 29th July, Richard and I will join tens of thousands of cyclists to take on the 2018 Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100. The course, made famous in the 2012 Olympic road race, consists of 100 miles of traffic-free roads through London and Surrey.
We will be cycling the hundred mile course to raise money for MSSC. We will be riding our own custom made tandem, but the first bike we ever rode together was a Dawes Super Galaxy, part of a fleet of tandems owned by MSSC. The money raised will go towards refurbishing, updating and maintaining the club's tandems, so that blind and partially sighted stokers, with their sighted pilots, can continue to experience the joy of cycling.
