Team St Anne’s ’s story

WREXHAM TO WILMSLOW

This year we are taking on one of the most challenging endurance walks:

100km in 24hours!

6 mums and dads from will be setting off at midday on 27th April, from Wrexham aiming to be back in Wilmslow at midday 28th April, having walked a gruelling 100km with no sleep.

We have more wonderful mums and dads joining at Frodsham for the second 50km.

We'll be joined by more parents with 25km to go in Great Budworth & yet more parents will join us for the last 10km.

Children from all years will join in, meeting at Quarry Bank Mill to walk the final 5km and help to raise money for their outdoor play equipment.

We wanted to have a fund raising challenge that everyone could get involved in including the children!

We're hoping to raise enough to finally be able to replace the beloved climbing frame which had to be removed 2 years ago after 15years of use.

Please dig deep and sponsor what you can.

Thank you!

All funds raised will be passed to the charity irrespective of whether my target is reached, not reached or exceeded.

What makes us wonderful?

We recognise the selfless commitment made by fundraisers who train for months to run marathons, face their fears by jumping out of aeroplanes or open their homes to the community for charity bakes and coffee mornings. We believe the charities they support should receive EVERY PENNY from their fundraising efforts.

We also believe that Gift Aid (a scheme enabling charities to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers) should be directed IN FULL to the charities. This is why the Wonderful Organisation does not generate profit (or even cover costs) by deducting money from fundraisers' sponsors or Gift Aid contributions.

We are a non-profit organisation funded entirely by like-minded, philanthropic businesses. That's what makes us wonderful!
