Team Mark Hudson Strictly at the Grange’s story
What do I know about ballroom dancing? Having previously said that I would support my wife Laura in having a go and then I get picked and she didn't! so I've signed up to take part in Strictly At The Grange. A professional dancer will be assigned the unenviable task of teaching me to dance over a few weeks over the spring months and then we all give it a go in a competition being watched by 350 people!
The event will take place on 26thApril and is being organised by the Grange School Parents Association. Every penny raised will go to The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. The Charity is working to raise awareness of childhood cancer. They produce educational resources for parents and clinicians, provide vital support to families and fund research into rare solid tumours of childhood.
Every year in the UK just under 4,000 children and young adults receive a life changing diagnosis of cancer. One of these children is Molly, a lovely little girl from the school and their family's experience highlights the importance of early diagnosis and the vital work being carried out by The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
Please dig deep and sponsor me as I fall all over the floor on the night! Every penny you give will make a difference to the lives of children and their families who are facing childhood cancer.
If you want to come a long and have a laugh, let me know.
thanks so much.
