I have been working as a volunteer with Carers in Bedfordshire (CIB) for 2 years. Everyone at CIB are dedicated, enthusiastic and thoroughly professional and they do an amazing job with very little funding. I would love to raise some funds for them so that they can continue their vital services.
CIB are a charity based entirely in Bedfordshire they support unpaid carers of all ages, backgrounds and caring situations. They have been in operation since the year 2004 and now have over 8,000 carers registered, 1,000 of those registered are under the age of 18.
CIB provides holistic support to carers and offer a range of activities and groups to help maintain and/or improve carers’ health and wellbeing. The charity enables carers of all ages to meet others in a similar position, attend training courses, relaxation therapy and counselling. These services provide crucial enhancements to mental, physical and emotional wellbeing through the promotion of social interaction with groups of peers that can share their experiences and feel like a part of a community rather than the isolation that is inherently present in the life of an unpaid carer.
Thank you for your support
